Director of Strategic Partnerships

Angela is one of Scala Learning’s founding members. She has 25 years of experience in the educational field. Moreover, she has served as director for companies such as Pearson and Cambridge in Colombia and the wider region. She has worked in online learning with top-tier universities for the past 7 years.

Jason Chávez

Head of Growth

Jason Chávez is a management and finance professional with a double Master’s Degree in Digital Advertising from the Universidad de Nebrija (Spain) and digital marketing from the Universidad EAN (Colombia). Jason has more than ten years of experience leading digital marketing projects.

William Botero

Director of Operations

William has over twenty years of experience in planning, implementing, and developing online learning strategies. He is the former director of the Universidad de la Sabana in Colombia and is an online learning consultant for Uninorte and EAFIT.

Juan Sebastián Contreras

Juan Sebastián has led multiple projects to support universities with the development and delivery of online programs and processes at an international scale. He earned an MBA from  Westfield Business School and a Digital Transformation specialisation from MIT.

Uriel Uribe

He has over 20 years of experience in the educational field and a broad experience in project implementation at a regional and international level. He has a Master’s Degree in Administration from Universidad del Valle de México and is a Doctoral Candidate in Communication and Strategic Marketing from Universidad Anáhuac.

Deivi Ladino

EdD, Director of Academic Operations

Deivi obtained a Doctor of Education (EdD) at the Universidad La Salle, and also earned a Master’s Degree in Education and ICT (e-learning) from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Moreover, he achieved a Bachelor’s Degree in Technological Design and is a specialist in virtual learning environments. Deivi has more than ten years of experience working with universities.

Human Resources Manager

Erika is a psychologist with over five years of experience in H.R. She has worked in universities’ wellness departments. In addition, she has also supported social and educational projects with children, youth, and adult groups.

Diana Arenas

Marketing Director

Diana studied Marketing Management at the Universidad de La Sabana in Colombia. She has led several different marketing initiatives and projects with organisations and institutions of higher education.

Margarita has twenty years of experience designing, developing, and operating e-learning content. She currently heads the online education projects and oversees their design, implementation, management, administration, follow-up, and evaluation.

Cristina is an attorney focused on higher education, specialised in Quality . She has gained extensive experience as a legal advisor for Colombia’s education sector. She has a specialisation in Commercial Law from Universidad de Los Andes in Colombia.
